Sleepover is situated in “The white village” (Den Hvide By), which consist of hundred years old whitewashed houses close to Valby Langgade. The street is not only connected to the public transportation system, but is also situated close to the big approach roads Roskildevej and the motorway 21 from Funen, Jutland and Rødby.
When you have settled in the cosy rooms, had a beer, a cup of coffee or tea and want to go out in Copenhagen, there are several possibilities:
At the end of Vestre Allè bus 26 stops and take you to the city of Copenhagen (15 minutes), the City Hall, Strøget, Christiansborg (the Danish Parliament), Kgs. Nytorv with the Royal Theatre, Magasin, Amalienborg (The Royal Palace) and it ends by the Little Mermaid.
Bus 6 fra Roskildevej and bus 10 from Vigerslevvej.
A 2 zones clipcard with 10 clips (1 clip to the city of Copenhagen last for an hour) costs 140 DKK/18 EUR. You can use it in busses and trains.
You can also lend up to 4 bicycles and 4 helmets, if you would like to cycle around in Copenhagen. Just tell me, when you book the room/apartment.
Sleepover is situated 3 minutes from Danshøj station, from where you can take the train (line F) to Flintholm station, where you can take the metro to the city or to Nørrebro and Hellerup, or in the other direction to Ny Ellebjerg and the Valby Hallen.
Line B takes you to all the big stations in Copenhagen: Valby, Hovedbanegården (The Central Station), Nørreport and Østerport.
Line C (from Valby Langgade station) takes you to Ballerup, Frederikssund, and Klampenborg (Dyrehaven and “Cirkus Revyen”).
